Benjamin Pierson CFT, SPN is an ISSA certified fitness trainer, and specialist
in performance nutrition and holds
membership with IDEA fitness. Model and performer, he has over 25 years experience with
martial arts, fitness and conditioning.
He has studied boxing, taekwondo, hapkido, tai chi, jujitsu, capoeira, aikido,
tai, chi, chi kug, circus arts and
circus conditioning.
Ben got introduced to the circus arts through good friend Polina
Volchek featured on "Americas got Talent" in 2006.
Through friends with Polina Volchek he was introduced to many casts
and shows such as fashionistas, Balagan, Dream Cast Entertainment, and
Cirque Du Soliel and had opportunities to watch
training as well as train with these professionals.
Exposed to back stages of many shows and rehearsals he learned little
techniques and tricks to training for stunts and tricks.
Through the years he has met and been mentored by other professionals
in the circus world, such as Brian Mcnelis of Cirque Viola,
and further educated with training techniques from Dominic
Lacasse.
He has taken first place for his act "Insanity" cirque act. His performing disciplines include, spinning cube,
foot juggling, balancing, aerial straps, pole,
aerial chiffon (silks), and fire arts. Ben presents the philosophy of the
circus to spread the word of do not show me the possible, but show me the impossible.
